Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Woo WA Plug ("the Service", "the Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Woo WA Plug provides:

• A web dashboard for connecting your WooCommerce store to WhatsApp
• Automated WhatsApp notifications for WooCommerce order events (confirmation, shipping, delivery, OTP)
• Message template customization
• Notification logs and audit trail
• Multi-store management capabilities

The Service acts as a bridge between your WooCommerce store, the WhatsApp Business API, and your customers. We do not guarantee message delivery — delivery depends on WhatsApp API availability and your customers' device status.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential and secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Ensuring your WooCommerce API keys are generated with minimum required permissions
• Maintaining the security of your WhatsApp Business account and linked device

One account is intended for one business entity. You may not share access credentials with multiple unrelated businesses.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service to:

• Send order-related automated messages to your WooCommerce customers
• Send OTP verification messages for your store's login system
• Customize message templates for your store's communication

You may not use the Service to:

• Send spam, bulk promotional messages, or unsolicited communications
• Send messages to people who have not consented to receive them
• Violate any applicable laws including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, or TCPA
• Abuse, harass, or threaten any person
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or modify the platform
• Use the platform for any illegal activity
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

5. WhatsApp & Meta Compliance

Your use of the WhatsApp messaging features is governed by Meta's policies. You agree to:

• Comply with WhatsApp Business Policy
• Comply with WhatsApp Terms of Service
• Only send messages to customers who have provided their phone number through a legitimate transaction
• Respond to opt-out requests promptly and maintain a suppression list
• Not use the Service to circumvent any WhatsApp rate limits or policies

Woo WA Plug is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of Meta or WhatsApp. We are an independent automation tool.

6. WooCommerce Data

By connecting your WooCommerce store, you grant Woo WA Plug limited access to:

• Read order data for the purpose of triggering automated notifications
• Receive webhook events from your store

You remain the data controller for all customer data from your store. We are a data processor acting on your instructions. You are responsible for ensuring your customers have been informed about automated WhatsApp notifications as part of their purchase experience.

Woo WA Plug is not affiliated with or endorsed by WooCommerce or Automattic.

7. Pricing & Billing

Woo WA Plug may be offered as a free, paid, or freemium service. Where applicable:

• Pricing details are displayed on the platform before payment
• Payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 14 days' notice

WhatsApp API gateway charges (if applicable) are separate from Woo WA Plug platform fees and are subject to the gateway provider's pricing.

8. Intellectual Property

All code, design, trademarks, and content of the Woo WA Plug platform are owned by Woo WA Plug and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without explicit written permission.

Your message templates, store data, and notification logs remain your property. We claim no ownership over your business content.

9. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Woo WA Plug is not liable for undelivered WhatsApp messages due to API outages, number bans, or recipient device issues
• Woo WA Plug is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or data resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months prior to the claim
• We are not responsible for third-party service failures (WhatsApp API, WooCommerce, or hosting providers)

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by ceasing use of the platform and requesting account deletion via contact email.

We may terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in spam or abusive messaging
• Fail to pay applicable fees
• Use the service for illegal activity

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then permanently deleted, unless legal obligations require longer retention.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will provide notice via the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
